Our son Kaiden lost his first two teeth this past week. Kaiden asked Mike why his teeth had to fall out.My dear husband told him boys loose their teeth because they kiss to many girls. Kaiden looked at us and said "why are mine falling out, I have not kissed anyone but Mom...do I need to stop?" It was precious.
The first one fell out while eating mashed potatoes for dinner. When he realized his tooth was gone he started to cry and said "look what your cooking did MOM!" It was one of the funniest sights that we have seen in a while. That night we put his tooth under his pillow and the Tooth Fairy brought him a pack of gum and $1. He was so excited for the second to come out so that her could get more money.
The second tooth caused some trauma when he lost it. We were swimming at the hotel pool in Idaho and he came out of the water missing his tooth...but it was no were to be found. Kaiden was upset because the tooth fairy wasn't going to come because he had no tooth to put under the pillow. He took action though and he left a note for the Tooth Fairy in hopes of getting more money for his missing tooth.
I had to post the note he left. I thought it was great. You know what it worked! He woke up with $1 under his pillow. I didn't know the Tooth Fairy would take notes.
I wonder what would happen if I were to leave a note asking for money :)
