I know what you are all thinking...is this really the Hansen's! Yes it is! We are alive and doing well. I know it has been along time since the last post. A lot has happened. There has been a lot of changes and a lot of adapting that has had to happen with our small family. I will over everything the next couple of weeks and get everyone up to speed as to all the changes that have transpired; believe me the past several months have been crazy.
Here are a few quick updates as to where we are at:
Mike is still cheap as ever :) I finally convinced him to get the Internet at our home...it took several months but he finally gave in (this is why I am able to update the blog).
Some of you may recall back in December of 2009 Mike was laid off from his job in Utah. To make a long story short he could not find a new job in Utah and we decided to start looking out side the state. After several month of looking endlessly; we were finally able find work in Idaho with a company called Melaleuca. We have been living in Idaho Falls now for almost 18 months...it is not as bad as I thought Idaho would be...I actually like it here. However, I do miss Utah and all my friends we made there over the years.
Kaiden will be turning 8 years old in July; he is in second grade and loving it. He told Mike and I tonight at dinner that her wants to be in the Army when he grows up so that he can drive a tank...he has been hanging out too much with his Dad.
Sage is energetic and full of life. She definitely keeps us on our toes. Our little princes will be 6 years old in August. She is super excited to start kindergarten next year.
As to me, I have had some health related issues since we left Utah. There were a few surgeries. Needless to say, I think we now have everything figured out now! I am felling really good and feel there wont be anymore set backs!
It is getting late and I need to go to sleep. I promise over the next couple of days I will update everyone with more information and photos so that you can see how much the kid-o's have grown.
Have a good night and I look forward to talking to everyone really soon.

Well welcome back! Love ya guys.
ReplyDeleteHi Farrah! So glad that you updated this! I've been wondering how things are going for you. I hope your health is good. Man, I remember Melaleuca from back in my Ricks days...and Josh Vandersloot's dad/grandpa was one of the founders or owners or something like that. Nice family. One of my old roommates recently contacted me and wanted me to sign up through her. I hadn't spoken to her since Ricks, so that was crazy! I hope your hubby is liking it! :) I'm so glad you are doing well!
